3WW – Empty Highway Ignored

I got the feeling of being empty as the truth reveal itself.

A love one had to be put on the operating cell.

As we ride the highway towards the appointed date.

It cannot be ignored that a botch operation could leave her dead.

Those happy moments together when we were in heaven

as it hits me those precious days could be shortened

I prayed as we hit the remaining days.

We talk, we hug and we hope for the best

soon we’ll know if the operation was a success.

As the knife touch the bare skin

the cold chill rushes through as blood spilled to be seen.

Then the alarm came on

and I was glad that it was a dream all along.

I’m very glad it ended up being just a dream – even if it was a scary one at that!

Try to be Mindful

"Try to be mindful, and let things take their natural course. Then your mind will become still in any surroundings, like a clear forest pool. All kinds of wonderful, rare animals will come to drink at the pool, and you will clearly see the nature of all things. You will see many strange and wonderful things come and go, but you will be still. This is the happiness of the Buddha." - Ajahn Chah

5 Buddhist Precepts

1 abstain from harming living beings | 2 abstain from taking things not freely given. | 3 abstain from sexual misconduct. | 4 abstain from false speech. | 5 abstain from intoxicating drinks and drugs causing heedlessness.

My Daily Motivation

"Just as treasures are uncovered from the earth, so virtue appears from good deeds, and wisdom appears from a pure and peaceful mind. To walk safely through the maze of human life, one needs the light of wisdom and the guidance of virtue."
