Theme “First Love”
Yearning to see her immediately after school. He was barely fourteen and she, his first girlfriend, was just pass thirteen. He was feeling on top of the world each time he watched her from a distance, each time they held hands and each time they watch each other. The exciting feeling cannot be sufficiently described in words nor imagined. Their first kiss was not seen by anyone or so they thought. Then followed by caressing and more exciting happenings…
Then one day, her mother knew. His dad was understanding and offered good advice. Then slowly, it dawned on them that forbidden is the word on their relationship but they knew not. All they knew was the good nice feeling for each other. They do not want to end it just like this. She cried upon the hurting feeling. Tears flowed as they were torn apart. He’ve no idea what he’s going to do with his life. Painful as it may, they would never understand why they can’t carry on with their relationship and that they were underage. Never understanding how their love for each other affects badly their study and how staying away from class to be together was not encouraged.
He finally hide behind the pillar at the airport months later, heave a sigh of sadness and hangs on to the last image of her walking towards the airplane. She cried sadly and quietly but not showing her true feelings openly as her slight figure followed her mother, leaving her heart at the country of her first love as she flew home.
